Joachim's first chopstick success

While I'm on firsts, I thought I'd post Joachim's first bite with chopsticks. Ever since he was 2, every time we've had Chinese food, or anything that resembles Chinese food, he's asked for chopsticks and with frustration he's tried to eat like Daddy.

Usually we resort convincing him to stab his food, but last week he actually grabbed it, held onto it, and got it into his mouth (granted it was more of a clutch than a pinch, but hey, that's hard for a lot of non-Asian adults). He also was not able to repeat this first as precisely, but we're excited for him because he's got the hang of it. (In his defense, dinner was beginning to take too long so we had to put a limit on the chopstick use.)

Excellent skill! Willon succeeds one out of ten times. Rhetta succeeds the first and second time and is then done and goes back to her fork. LOL
