Last week when Ben got home from work we took a picnic dinner to the lake with Grandma and Baba and had a beautiful evening canoing. Ben and I would really like to take the canoe up on the mesa, but until we have a free day to take off (i.e.until we are living IN the A street house) a trip down the street to Confluence is pretty nice.
Joachim was a very good passenger which made it fun for all of us, we will definitely take him again!

Deltarado Days

Tis the season of small town festivals again. A while ago was our town's celebration starting with a parade down Main Street after which we all walked to the park for some fun.

I've been using the computer less and less and it's been somewhat freeing. Granted I call Ben at work to google things for me, and I've been slightly frustrated we don't actually have a dictionary to look up words, still it's been ok. Winter will be here soon enough and there will be fewer daylight hours and outside activities. Here Joachim is enjoying two of his favorite "boy-boy" role models. Benny and Corbin inspire him to challenge his physical abilities and embrace being a boy. I know Jochim is just lounging in the tire, but he also hung from the trapez like a monkey.
