Pascha Picnic

The Easter service began at 11:30 pm Saturday night and afterwards there was a huge meal breaking the Lenten fast. We left for home at about 4:00am Sunday morning. Yes, even the smallest children attend the celebration and Joachim was right at home, since he is often up for a couple hours each night anyway. Being up with joyful people was way more satisfying than being up with cranky parents and he reveled in the sights, sounds and scents (he did sleep in the sling some).
Sunday we reconvened for an all day BBQ and egg hunts. Joachim participated in the "under 3 egg hunt" and was delighted when we hid his eggs again and again. Joachim, baby Benjamin and chalk.
